SJHS PTA IS BRINGING CHALLENGE DAY TO SANFORD!

Challenge Day is a memorable experiential program that has reached more than 1.5 million youth and adults since 1987. In three days the Challenge Day Program aims to have every child in school feel safe, loved, celebrated, and specifically to accomplish the following purposes:

  1.  Improve school climate and create a united school community;

  2. Reduce emotional stress that inhibits learning and positive behaviors;

  3. Positively influence student attendance and student achievement;

  4. Strengthen inclusiveness and positive relationships across socio-economic cultures;

  5. Reduce bullying, conflict and student disciplinary actions.

You can find more information about Challenge Day including videos and testimonials at www.challengeday.org

The SJHS PTA is bringing the Challenge Day experience to Sanford's 7th grade students and a Challenge Day Assembly to Sanford's 7th, 8th and 9th grade students in January 2019!

Central to bringing this program to our community will be support from our local community.   Your support will make an enormous impact on the lives of the students in our community.  Please consider clicking our "Donate" button below so you too can "Be the Change"!
